The NESS Home Alarm Systems D8X Security System can provide up to 8 wired or wireless alarm zones " wireless zones require extra receivers added to this kit" and 2 x 24-hour tamper zones. Meaning it can have 8 Alarm devices wired or wireless and two tamper devices connected to it. Alarm devices are movement detectors, reed switches, and smoke detectors. Examples of tamper devices are siren box tampers and panel tampers. Having these tamper inputs available means you don't have to use alarm inputs for tampers increasing the number of usable alarm zones available for movement devices, perimeter protection devices, etc.
